一、School profile
Jishou University, founded in September 1958, is a Hunan provincial university with national and local characteristics. It is divided into Jishou Campus and Zhangjiajie Campus, and its headquarters is in Jishou City, the capital of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province.
The school now has 25 teaching colleges and departments, including International Exchange College, Foreign Languages College, College of Literature, School of Law, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Physical Science and Information Engineering, School of Sports Science, School of History and Culture, School of Music and Dance, School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Academy of Fine Arts, School of Medicine and Business School, 19 master's programs and 42 undergraduate majors, covering philosophy, literature, science, engineering, law and economics.
In recent years, with the development of foreign economic relations and trade in China, Jishou University has vigorously promoted academic exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities, and has established long-term exchanges and cooperation with famous universities in Britain, the United States, South Korea, Ukraine, Austria and other countries. 四、申请方法
Application method
1. Overseas students can apply directly to the Foreign Affairs Office of Jishou University at any time;
海外学生任何时候均可直接向吉首大学外事办提出申请；
2. Fill in and submit the Application Form for Admission to Jishou University (photocopy), the Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (photocopy), the final academic certificate and transcript (photocopy), and my passport (photocopy);填写并交验《吉首大学入学申请表》(复印件)、《外国人体格检查表》 (复印件)、最后学历证明和成绩单(复印件)、本人护照(复印件)；
3. Provide the economic guarantee certificate issued by the guarantor who can perform legal duties.提供能履行法律职责的担保人出具的经济担保证明。
