On the afternoon of September 20th, Hu Zhuling, General Manager of Xingfei Zhiyuan, and staff of the company went to Xiangtan to visit Xiangtan Medicine&Health Vocational College, and held discussions and exchanges on jointly building a community with a shared future for China-Africa vocational education. Liu Jianqiang, Secretary of the School Party Committee, Wu Yuanqing, Vice President of the College, and Xu Wei, Director of the International Exchange Department warmly welcomed the delegation led by Hu Zhuling, General Manager of Xingfei Zhiyuan, Chen Jiangtao, Executive Chairman of Economic and Trade Chamber of Commerce in Changsha County.
At the negotiation meeting, the secretary of the Party Committee, Liu Jianqiang welcomed the delegation of Chamber of Commerce and Xingfei Zhiyuan, and he gave a comprehensive introduction to the college's development history and outlined the achievements of the college in international exchanges. He said that the "the Belt and Road" is a great initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. As a public university, how to serve the "the Belt and Road" and play a role in the "the Belt and Road" construction is a question we have been thinking about.
The college has a long history of education, which can be traced back to the Guangde Senior Nurse Vocational School founded by the Presbyterian Church in 1915 of the United States. And it is located in Xiangtan, the hometown of the great man, Mao Zedong.
The college has six colleges, one department, and one center, including Clinical College, Nursing College, Medical Technology College, Medical Equipment and Management College, Marxist College, Continuing Education College, Medical Fundamentals and Public Courses Department, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. It also offers 22 majors, such as clinical medicine, oral medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, preventive medicine, nursing, midwifery, rehabilitation treatment technology, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, intelligent medical equipment technology, health information management, medical beauty technology, and optometry, with about 15000 students.
At the same time, the college is also nursing development project in China assisted by the Hunan Training Center for Maternal and Child Health of the World Health Organization and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It has a clinical simulation training center, a human life science museum, and a modern training base for dental professional production. This visit will deepen understanding of international exchange and cooperation projects between China and Africa for both sides, promote exchanges and cooperation in the field of health, provide assistance to improve the level of security and health, and jointly make positive contributions to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Africa.

The purpose of this negotiation meeting is to promote mutual complementarity of advantages between both sides, establish a long-term cooperative relationship in international education talent cultivation, and enhance and expand the influence. In accordance with the requirements and deployment of the "Opinions on Deepening the Construction and Reform of the Modern Vocational Education System", both sides shall implement important projects and initiatives under the framework of "jointly building a community with a shared future in Africa" proposed by Chinese President Jinping Xi at the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and work together to deepen cooperation and seek common development.
