On the morning of April 8, 2024, Xingfeizhiyuan International Education and Culture Center went to the School of International Education of Central South University to hold a discussion on vocational education in China and Africa. Xiang Xueyong, vice president of the School of International Education of Central South University, and Wei Yanjie, head of the enrollment program, and his party were received. Chen Jiangtao, chairman of Xingfeizhiyuan International Education and Culture Chinese, Wang Quanhai, general manager of China District, and Zhou Qing, deputy general manager attended the meeting. Mao Tianyu, senior project manager of the United Nations International Trade Center, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Director Mao introduced the current situation of China-Africa educational cooperation. He said, "Our work has always focused on promoting China-Africa economic and trade exchanges. Now we have opened up a new path and hope to promote China-Africa economic and trade development through China-Africa higher education cooperation."
President Chen said that the Chamber of Commerce can not only help African students to return to China for employment, but also build a broad platform for them to display their talents and realize their self-worth in Chinese-funded enterprises. This mode of cooperation not only solves the talent demand of enterprises, but also provides a bright career path for overseas students in Africa.
Dean Xiang affirmed this and said that Central South University has rich experience in the field of study abroad cooperation, and is willing to share this precious wealth with Hunan enterprises in Africa to provide support for their cooperation in personnel training and vocational education. He also expressed his willingness to support and help China's Ambassador to Kenya in medical cooperation.
Finally, I proposed to the Dean to establish the Kenya Alumni Association of Central South University, which is a bridge of friendship between China and Africa. This bridge is of great significance to Chinese and African graduates and local enterprises. It will provide an interactive platform for graduates from the two countries and strengthen the ties between Chinese and African graduates. At the same time, local enterprises can also explore outstanding talents through this platform, broaden their network resources and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
This exchange is not only an important step for the two sides to reach a consensus on education cooperation, but also the opening of a new chapter in China-Africa education exchange. This cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Central South University indicates that in the future, in the field of education, we can jointly write more wonderful cooperation stories. In the future, we have reason to believe that through the joint efforts of both sides, more African students will cross the ocean and come to China, a land full of dreams and opportunities. At the same time, more and more outstanding talents from China will go to Africa to contribute to the local education, economy and cultural development.
