National Day, for every son and daughter of the Chinese, has a very great significance.  This great historical moment marked that the Chinese people stood up and became the masters of the country.

National Day is the birthday of the country, is a great commemoration of national independence and national liberation. It has witnessed China's glorious journey from poverty and weakness to prosperity and strength. On this day, we review the history, cherish the memory of the martyrs, and thank them for their great sacrifices and contributions to the country and the nation.

National Day is also a symbol of national unity. Fifty-six ethnic groups together to form the big family of the Chinese nation, on this special day, we celebrate together, showing the strong cohesion and centripetal force of the Chinese nation. No matter where we are in the world, we all share common roots, common cultural heritage, and common patriotism.
